Dear Friends,

This season has held both deep sorrow and profound joy for our Friends of Club 21 community. We recently walked together through the grief of losing a cherished member, and in honoring her life, we were reminded that what we share here is more than programming — it is belonging. Singing together at her service was a sacred privilege and a testament to the love that binds this community.

At the same time, we experienced an extraordinary honor: being invited to perform on the national stage at the March for Life in Washington, DC this January. Our choir carried the heart of this community to our nation’s capital, boldly showcasing the gifts and voices of individuals with Down syndrome.

Now, we step into another milestone — our very first spring semester of Arts Academy. This new season reflects growth, vision, and the continued expansion of opportunities where creativity is nurtured and confidence grows.

Through both grief and celebration, we are reminded that what we are building together truly matters. Thank you for your belief, generosity, and partnership in this important work.

With gratitude,
Jared Anderson
Executive Director

Remembering & Celebrating

Honoring the Life of Bre Bradshaw

The Friends of Club 21 community recently came together to remember and celebrate Bre Bradshaw, whose life and legacy continue to impact our community in meaningful ways. Bre’s kindness, spirit, and presence left a lasting imprint on those who knew her.

It was a profound honor for the Friends of Club 21 Choir to sing at her funeral, offering music as a tribute to her life and as a gesture of love and support to her family. We remember Bre with deep gratitude, and we continue to hold her family close in our thoughts and prayers.

Choir Performed in Washington DC at March for Life

Last month, members of the Friends of Club 21 Choir had the incredible opportunity to perform on the national stage in Washington, DC as part of the March for Life. They sang the National Anthem just before Vice President, JD Vance took the stage and they performed additional selections later that evening at the March for Life Rose Gala.

As this year’s MFL theme was, “Life is a Gift,” and our choir embodied that message in a powerful and visible way. Through their voices, presence, and joy, they bore witness to the beauty, dignity, and immeasurable value of every human life. Their performance was more than music — it was a living expression of the very message the March sought to proclaim.

We are so proud of our choir members, who represented our community with grace, courage, and conviction, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share their gifts on such a meaningful national stage.
