Throughout the year we have a variety of events to raise awareness and celebrate the gift of the Down syndrome community.

March

Each year on March 21, we recognize World Down Syndrome Day. We raise awareness by wearing silly socks. (Why socks? The sock is roughly the shape of a chromosome.)

July

Friends of Club 21 will have a float in the historic small town 4th of July parade in Monument, CO.

Come on out, celebrate the holiday with us and help raise awareness about the gift of Down syndrome!

October

We hold an annual gala to raise funds for Friends of Club 21. These dinners are a celebration of Friends of Club 21 and a showcase of the incredible work happening here in Colorado Springs and at Club 21 in South Africa.

We invite our guests to give a gift to support the work of Friends of Club 21.

December

Christmas This Year: Holiday Spectacular is our flagship event. This annual holiday variety show spotlights and celebrates our community with Down syndrome and special abilities by putting them on center stage.
