What a summer it has been! From the joy of our first-ever art camp to the excitement of launching the Arts Academy, we have witnessed creativity and the community flourishing in remarkable ways. As we step into fall, I cannot wait to see what is ahead — from Saturday classes launching this week to our 11th annual Christmas This Year production.

Celebrating Summer!
Art Camp Debut
Our first “Flourishing Art Camp” was a week of color, creativity, and courage! Students explored painting, drawing, and self-expression, ending with a heartwarming gallery showcase for families and friends. Some of the masterpieces created at camp will be auctioned and sold at our upcoming Club Night event (see below for event details).
Choir’s Patriotic Performance
The Friends of Club 21 choir lifted their voices to celebrate our nation for Woodmen Valley Chapel’s Legacy Group (senior adult ministry). They performed patriotic hymns and the national anthem — and some standup comedy!

Joe Mason and his children lit up the screen, sharing the mission of Friends of Club 21 with the Colorado Springs community on Fox21’s live morning show.
4th of July Parade
Families, friends, and volunteers came together to celebrate in Monument’s parade, waving flags and spreading joy in true Friends of Club 21 fashion. We loved seeing our friends and neighbors along the route — and we are thrilled to share that our Christmas This Year-themed float won the best float award!

Arts Academy Has Officially Launched!
Students are stepping into music, dance, drama, and visual arts classes designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and celebrate each individual. Classes are on Thursdays and Saturdays. Spots are still available!
